Teachers play a huge role in shaping young minds and strengthening communities. They face unique challenges and are forced to make a huge number of decisions on a daily basis, much like a manager but without a manager's paycheck. Bottom line, teachers are some of the unsung heroes of the day.  

 

Every year, we choose a Central VA public school system to appreciate during Teacher Appreciation Week. This year we will be expressing our deep appreciation to the 720 teachers in Powhatan County. Our goal for this two day initiative is to provide lunch, school branded shirts and gifts as a way of saying, "We appreciate and value the difference you're making in the lives of children in our community."
